“This cabin is located in the middle of a national forest not far from the Colorado border in a remote location. It is surrounded by native vegetation and wildlife. While you are having breakfast, you can often see a family of deer grazing just outside the dining room. On our drive to town, we also came across a family of wild turkeys. “This property is not how it is portrayed on the web. Upon arriving it appeared the exterior grounds outside the cabins were not maintained. I can say that the inside was clean and cozy. There are no televisions in the property, which I knew so we brought our own. Although the kitchen has a stove there is no oven.. There are two old chairs on the front "porch" area. One of the chairs had a exposed rusty nail that my wife did not notice until she sat down and cut her leg. When we went to the area……

“The cabin was very accommodating for our group. We were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday and had a group of 11 people ranging in ages from 9 months to 60\. There were quite a few spiders as mentioned in other reviews, but I feel like that was to be expected considering the location of the property. The only negative aspect was that the hot tub never did get hot. It stayed at a barely like warm temperature. All in all, we really enjoyed the property and plan to return in the future. ”

“The house was great, but very hard to find on a dark and rainy night via a gravel road about 15 - 20 minutes outside of town. Because we had so many activities crammed into our two days in Moab, we were at the house only to sleep. Next time we'll plan better so we can just relax and be able to enjoy the lovely property. ”

“Stayed at this lovely property in the Cedar Pod and had the best experience! We stayed here while competing in the Bears Ears Ultra. We took advantage of the sauna (incredible) and the communal kitchen, making burritos one night. We also spent an evening in downtown Moab. This is the perfect place for those who don't want to be in tourist-centric Moab and prefer a more relaxing, natural atmosphere. The hosts were fabulous, providing us with tubs for hanging out at Foy Lake and bringing coffee……
