"I had an amazing stay. The shuttle service, the room, the staff— ALL great. Everyone I encountered was so very polite and respectful, which I very much appreciate. The room was clean and spacious enough for me, there was a decently sized water jug for drinking (yay), perfectly working tv, freezing cold A/C to combat the heat / humidity, and beautiful balcony. The only complaint I have is about the third-party restaurant. This obviously doesn’t reflect on the resort directly but it’s still important to note, especially if you’re a solo female traveler. After checking in and putting my bags down, the very first thing I did was walk over to the restaurant / bar to have a virgin piña colada and enjoy the view. I was looking forward to sitting in silence and decompressing a bit after traveling so long. But of course, that’s not always possible if a man is around and you’re a woman sitting by herself. I wasn’t even at the resort an hour before the bartender asked for my instagram and made small talk even though I was doing my best to give the hint that I didn’t want to be bothered……. IYKYK. Frustrating and not conducive to a relaxing and peaceful environment, especially if I know I would be returning to that restaurant throughout the trip. First thought / feeling when I wanted to go to the restaurant after that was that anxious anticipation of whether I’ll run into him or not. I want to emphasize that he wasn’t rude or overly aggressive or anything, but that’s not the point. "

"Great stay! The hotel shuttle was waiting for us as soon as we landed. Hotel staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. Room very clean and confortable. Will stay again!"

"Air conditioning was effective, tv doesn’t work if you want to watch it while or before you sleep. Everything is very expensive. Every meal was at least $100 US and it’s a lot over a week with 3 meals a day. It’s better to go into town and get food there. "

"Visible Mold in bathroom and bedroom behind bed. Room smelled moldy. Microwave and coffee tray also has black spots of mold. "

"Every review is pretty spot on. I was first greeted by the amazing Andean and her friendly staff. Free parking and secured. Huge clean room with balcony facing the ocean. AC was working. I ate twice at Midtown (the stew chicken is so yummy!) and had a breakfast at Ochuna downstairs. Both very good. I walked the first night to the museum and I felt safe. Yes there’s only one chair but I was solo so it didn’t bother me. There was some noise in the park and next door but it was on Saturday but with the patio door closed, it was fine and the noise tapered down after 22:00. Water was not super hot but it’s typical. For the price, I would recommend this to anyone and I’ll be back again before leaving Belize. "

"The pools were lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. We ate at the main restaurant once, was ok but could use updating. The pool bar food was good breakfast was super. Housekeeping very friendly and did a nice job. The area is quiet vs. the hustle and bustle in town but it's a short 20 min golf cart ride to town. We did the day sale for snorkling to the reef and sharks and rays and lunch at Caye Caulker with Tuff Nuff sailing excursions. Highly recommend. Our first time to Belize for my husband's birhday he loved it. Very chill don't pack much just swimming costumes, flops, cover ups and casual sundresses. We will be back!"
