“Très belle maison , très propre nous avons était ravie de notre séjour il y a tout ce qu’il faut , juste à poser les bagages. Des propriétaires très accueillants qui ont pensé à tout , excellent.”

“This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine……

“Wir, Eltern und zwei Jungs (16 u. 21) haben hier ein super-nettes, gut ausgestattetes Haus für eine knappe Woche gemietet. Man mietet nicht nur die Innenräume, sondern auch einen geräumigen Sitzplatz und eine ansehnliche Rasenfläche rund ums Haus. Bereitgestellt wird auch ein mobiler Holzkohlengrill (bei uns inkl. Kohle) und sauber aufgeschichtetes Holz für den Kamin im Wohnraum, den man auch gerne an warmen Sommerabenden anmacht. Das Haus liegt einige Autominuten entfernt vom Ortskern……

“Le seul inconvénient c'est que sur l'annonce d'abritel, vous nous annoncez 1 chambre à 2lits doubles alors qu'il y en a 1, sinon logement et alentours très agréables, propriétaire très sympathique.”

“Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre.On s'y sent bien tout de suite Cuisine avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires et même plus! Petit bémol : isolation légère des murs intérieurs.Accès à la wi-fi au top. Deux points forts : la terrasse qui donne sur les marais où nous avons vu des chevaux dans leur enclos et des biches qui traversaient matin et soir l'espace vert.Et la situation à proximité immédiate de la mer, c'est vraiment très pratique avec……

“Lovely spacious house for a family stay. The covered pool was perfect given we had some cooler and wet days and the sauna was a bonus for the adults. Easy walking distance to the town for bakeries, bars, restaurants and shops, but the house itself is secluded enough to think you are in the country. Wardrobe space was limited in some of the bedrooms, but not a problem for us. ”

“Eine sehr schöne Villa, nicht weit weg vom tollen Strand. Herzliche Begrüßung der Eigentümerin. Die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet, die Betten bequem, rundum eine erstklassige Unterkunft in der Normandie.”

“Sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Alles da was man benötigt. Super sauber! Toll ist der komplett eingezäunte Garten. Fa konnten die Hunde immer in der Sonne liegen, wenn man selbst noch beschäftigt war. Man ist sehr schnell am Strand. Bei Flut kann man sogar den Atlantik hören.Wir kommen gerne wieder!”

“Perfect house in an excellent location. Only a few minutes to get to the beach promenade which we did several times a day. There is a small beach side cafe bar open a few days a week and an excellent hotel restaurant for a treat. The house had everything to cater at home so mostly we ate there. Even in bad weather the lounge diner is bright with an open outlook so pleasant to stay in to play cards or watch tv. The sunsets from the beach are stunning.
