Beautifully refurbished and spacious, 4 bedroom property

The Retreat really is exactly that, a spacious, beautifully refurbished, four bedroom Victorian terraced house. Close to the heart of the action but far enough to 'retreat' to and the end of a fun filled Blackpool night out, the house provides the perfect base. The property is just 5 minutes from all the excitement of Blackpool prom, with it's plethera of amusements, cafes, restaurants and bars to name a few and of course The Pleasure Beach. Families can sleep soundly in the peace of the suburbs by night and enjoy all the adventure they can get by day. Workers will be able to kick their boots off, cook up a well earned hearty meal in the privacey of their own kitchen and relax in front of the telly before getting a good night's rest in the comfy beds.

There are 4 bedrooms, a double with en-suite a second double, a twin room and a cosy single room.
No parties

Pets allowed






Partying and excessive noise is not permitted in this development, failure to comply will lead to a fine.

Couldn’t cook or have shower

Cooking pans was unusable, cooking tray was dirty so couldn’t cook anything in the oven either. Had to go out to eat for two nights and then had cold buffet the other. Didn’t cook anything we had brought as the pans were discussing so couldn’t cook anything. Both the showers was cold so we couldn’t use it so had to use the bath. There was no bath or hand towels, it says it was included. One double bed didn’t have any sheet on and one single bed did not have a duvet cover. However the house manager did get a housekeeper to sort that. House manager did offer to reimburse 50% of our going out to eat and apologised. This is what she send ‘I am extremely sorry about this. Housekeeping will reimburse you for 50% of your evening meal. Please send me over the receipt.’ We didn’t keep any receipts but did pay on our cards so I said I could send them but have not yet heard back from them since we’ve vacated the property today. I’m not very happy about that at all!

House in need of TLC, Key safe jammed shut and mouldy plates, glasses and cups in the dishwasher

This could be a marvelous rental, however the property in need of some TLC, broken windows, broken blinds, paint flaking off walls, cupboard bases falling off in kitchen which made it difficult to open the fridge. Floor tile badly fitted in kitchen, bottom of the stairs banister only partially attached. However worse was to come when opening the dishwasher it was still full of the previous occupants dirty dishes, cups and glasses which had not been cleaned and were moldy! The key safe was jammed shut, so obviously the property had NOT been checked before we took occupancy. Spoke to Property Management Company and sent the pictures and all they suggested was moving us to a smaller property , however this was not appropriate at the time as I was already in the process of putting my grand daughter to sleep, luckily I brought my own travel cot for her! So we made do but was not able to eat in the property as the plates/cups and most of the cultery was moldy in the Dishwasher. WE have taken pictures and have already shared them with the property management company but happy to share with the owners. Really disappointed, but the key issues was the disgusting dishwasher

Highly recommended

House was perfect for us as a group of women, plenty of space, clean and fresh looking. Communication with Sophie from pillow partners was brilliant, fast replying and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would re use if we came back.

4 night stay

It was close to the sea with parking close by. I was told parking was outside but didn't risk it as there are double yellow lines. Although house sleeps 7 it doesn't seat 7. Shower access is very tight but main bathroom has a bath. For what we paid it was good value
