“The house was perfect for what we needed. Much better than the photos show and would defiantly book again if in the area. ”

“When it says “ Sea View” it means it . Clear view of the bay all the way to the Port of Felixstowe. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. As such the doors and corridors are wide and the rooms spacious. Each room has a door onto the private patio. The rest of the campus seems to be posh flats . We weren’t disturbed at all and the natives seemed friendly. Dad is 92……

“A lovely stay and great location for exploring Suffolk. Comfortable, well equipped cottage on lovely grounds with lake, games room (which our kids loved) and goslings.”

“The cottage is well equipped and comfortable, having an en-suite shower in both bedrooms is a definite bonus!! The central heating is very efficient and our dog loved the garden outside the conservatory. The beds and sofas are very comfortable. Maggie is a very friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge.”

“Nice place to stay for our short break with outside seating area at the rear which was welcome as it was very hot weather and it was far too hot in the house with no air conditioning or fan provided. We had taken a fan with us ourselves which we needed on both floors if the house. Lots of wasps/insects entering the house due to the weather. Can accommodate babies and pets too. Well equipped apart from no hairdryer. House looked a different colour (darker) from the website, so difficult to find. ”
