A Must Visit
Almost Like Home is a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, with amazing views! Mathew and Sara were fantastic hosts. They were super quick to reply to inquiries, offered a helpful "things to do in the area" listing, and even gave us their phone numbers in case we needed to reach out for any reason (which we didn't). The cabin itself was great - clean, spacious, and well stocked with all the essentials for a pleasant get away. I definitely hope to return for another relaxing weekend soon!

Amazing view
The property had a very nice and home like feel. It was welcoming. Walking through the front doors your instantly introduced to the view of the mountains. 10 min away from downtown, it was the perfect location as well.

Truly almost like home!
This house is laid out perfectly for my family of 6. Plenty of space to spread out, relax and get cozy. Beautiful yet cozy decor, and thoughtful touches every where! The owner was extremely responsive, kind, accommodating and full of knowledge regarding the area. We were truly minutes from everything when we wanted to venture out, but everyone was perfectly happy staying in and enjoying the cabin life! Will definitely be back.

This property was close to shopping, hiking an other destinations such as Helen and Turtle Town, for family fun. Loved the basement for our youngest kiddos who could play, bunk and stay up late without disrupting the rest of the house and they loved having their own space. Our oldest has his own space too. We enjoyed the hot tub, mountain views from the main room and the deck and the fenced yard for our pup! The drive was steep, so we had to maneuver a little as we drove with some additional things in tow. The host was very responsive with the needs we had upon arrival, and we had a great time!

I received excellent detailed information about the home, the surrounding area, and directions to the house. The home is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. It’s even more beautiful than the photos. Our group had everything we needed as far as linens, appliances, etc. we enjoyed the views, peace and quiet along with the fire pit in the evening. We took time to explore downtown Blueridge and the local orchard. All in all, we didn’t want to leave and wished we could stay at least a week or more. We would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

Enjoyed staying here with my sister & our mom, celebrating her 95th birthday! The fact that this home is accessible for anyone with limited mobility helped us tremendously to assist getting her in & out. Most everything we needed was on the entry-level floor. The house is beautiful & had everything we could have possibly needed. The view is beautiful! The road leading up to the cabin is very good, although it was a bit narrow. Very quiet neighborhood. The hosts were excellent in communicating everything to us before, during & after our stay. I definitely give this place a thumbs’ up!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We spent most of our time in the kitchen around the fabulous island eating and drinking. Then hit the hot tub for relaxation. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. Would definitely go back.

Best View in the Area
Mathew was a wonderful host. From the moment we booked our stay he was communicating with us regarding any questions we had. The property is beautiful and has the most amazing views. We checked out the surrounding homes and felt that theirs had the best view with it being perched on top of the hill. The road is super fun leading to the cabin. Very hilly but we found it to be a small adventure. The kids all said “weee” anytime we were driving through the neighborhood. I love the proximity to the small town of Copperhill, TN where you can drink a beer in two states! Only 10 mins from downtown Blue Ridge as well. Our dog also had a great time & it made things super easy having the fenced backyard. Short drive to many hiking spots. Another detail that I found super convenient is that the stairs have a built in gate. We brought our 1 year old so that was a saving grace for us personally. There are so many places you can sit and enjoy a cup of whatever you love to drink. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking! It was a relaxing adventure and we would love to come back to see what the summertime has to offer :)

Gorgeous View
Loved everything about Almost Like Home! This beautiful cabin was super clean, open and spacious but still very cozy, and was decorated perfectly, there was even a Christmas tree! Our corgi loved the fenced in area and also napping by the cozy fire in the fireplace. The view was absolutely Gorgeous and was definitely my favorite feature about this cabin! We enjoyed our relaxing pre Christmas vacay very much!

2nd time we have stayed here, very easy access to bring my mobility challenged mother in law, only 2 steps to get her inside the cabin, with 2 large bedrooms on the main, all the kids downstairs (walk out basement with living room and game room). Perfect fenced in doggy door side yard for our doodle to go in and out safely. Great stay!

We spent a week in this beautiful cabin with excellent views and assure you that it will not disappoint. The cabin is impeccably appointed, and every possible amenity is provided for your convenience. The host/owner is readily accessible and very helpful with any questions or issues you may have. The road into the neighborhood is paved and well maintained. The driveway takes you directly to the front door. Your fur baby will enjoy the large, securely fenced yard. We feel the cabin deserves to be featured in architectural magazines. We hope you enjoy this beautiful cabin as much as we did.

One of the best in Blue Ridge
We visit Blue Ridge often and stay at different cabins each time, but this is one we would actually love to return to. It met our specific needs, and checked off everything on our long list that we look for when selecting a cabin - all paved roads, paved driveway, close proximity to heart of Blue Ridge, two primary bedrooms on main level, beautiful view, pet friendly, and best of all - easy access to the cabin for our senior dog - there is a ramp on the side of the cabin! I can’t tell you how difficult it is to find quality cabins without numerous steps. Our only suggestion is to upgrade the hot tub at some point. But all in all, you can’t go wrong staying here.

What a beautiful property! Everything was just perfect The house, the view, the outdoor furniture, even the fire pit. What a treat it was to stay at this beautiful property. We will back as it was only 1.5 hour drive with traffic from ATL. Owners communicated better than any VRBO I’ve ever stay in. Thank you!

Fall Break Getaway
We had such a lovely stay here! The home, decor, comfort, beauty and location were amazing and perfect! The owners were so welcoming and communicative in all areas. We were in close proximity to downtown Blue Ridge but still felt tucked up and relaxed for mountian air. We will be back! We are grateful to the owners for sharing this getaway!
