It's perfect to just get away and relax. Do you like to fish? If so, this lovely cabin is the one for you. It sits above two small picturesque ponds. Bring a rod and fish. The pond is just a short minutes walk down the concrete drive. Want to stay in? That is perfect too! With a beautiful master suite upstairs, which features an en suite bath, you have the privacy to sleep in or just get some good old fashion rest. Love the outdoors? Soak up the outdoor fireplace, or sit in the 4 person hot tub on the screened-in porch. \*\*\*THIS PROPERTY IS NOT PET FRIENDLY\*\*\* Want to go out shopping or for a night on the town? This well-appointed cabin is only a mere 5-minute drive from the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. You can shop, ride the scenic railway, make art, eat, go out for a night at the bar, have a great dinner, and so much more! The location of this cabin is perfect! You are perfectly placed for privacy, but you are minutes away from fishing, tubing, shopping, outdoor aerial park, mini-golf, horseback riding and so much more. \*\*\*REQUIRED FEES INCLUDE\*\*\* Cleaning Fee: $171.00 Required Rental Insurance: $45.00 No Security Deposit Required Processing Fees All Bed Linens and towels are provided with this rental. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. There are no food items, spices, or condiments provided. You will be provided with 5 Kitchen Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per Kitchen Sink, 3 packs of dishwasher detergent, 1 10 oz Gain or Tide laundry soap (6 loads), a small 2 oz bottle of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner per bathroom with tub or shower, and a bar of hand soap per bathroom sink, 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet. You will also be provided with a souvenir Willow Creek Cabin Rentals tote bag to take with you. Please make a note, this is a starter kit for your arrival. If you require more essentials, you will be required to purchase those. No more items will be brought to the property. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the hot tub. They're was plenty of paper towels, TP, and even bath gel, lotion, shampoo and conditioner available, which was awesome. The ponds at the bottom of the driveway were lovely and we liked watching the goose that hung out there. It was in a beautiful location. It is close to Blue Ridge. About 5 min. There are several restaurants in town. Chain and local. There is a vistor center downtown by the train depot. Great location, very private, clean and the perfect place to unwind. Unfortunately during our stay a tornado came through and took out power for most of the area. My complaint is with the management company of the cabin. They never reached out to us to see if we were OK or ask if we needed anything. When I took the initiative to reach to them to state we were OK and the cabin did not have any damage, but that we were without power, they simply responded back with 'sorry for the inconvenience'. They never asked if we wanted to check out early to find somewhere with power and never offered a discount if we chose to stay. We ultimately chose to stay as we wanted other locations to be available for the elderly or families with children who truly needed electricity. We lost groceries, had to go out and buy flashlights and candles, and had other unexpected expenses. We never heard back from the management company until it was time to check out and they reminded us of our checklist of items to do before leaving. We still did not have power when we checked out but they did not even ask if it was restored. The hot tub, outdoor fireplace, beds were comfy, cabin was immaculate! The stars at night take your breath away. It was just perfect. Close to Blue Ridge, orchards, wineries, and spas. The only thing not in working order was the tv bedroom remotes. I am sure they just needed batteries. Beds were comfortable. The driveway is super steep. Cabin was great! Had everything we needed! However, in reading the reviews, I see that no one mentioned the steepness of the driveway. It is a little tricky especially when snowing which it was during our stay. The cabin is not as secluded as pictures seem. You will have people on their main porch looking at you in the hot tub. Be careful walking on the first landing of the front porch there are rotten boards that you can easily fall through. Parking area is muddy and slippery all the way to the steps. My 3.5 year old loved being close to the pond. We went fishing every day. It’s so close to down town as well. The house was very clean and so cozy! We did find 2 small scorpions when we checked in. Loved all the wood furniture and the layout. Lots of towels were provided as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They even had some firewood available. Loved that the hot tub was already heated upon our arrival. Communication with the host was great, quick response times.
