“Lovely large bungalow and annexe, great space for a multi generational family break. Would benefit from some TLC along with new beds, bedding and sofas. If you have a large car beware of the narrow access to the property. ”

“Compact but certainly adequate property for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Excellent location for walking to the beach and for traveling the peninsula. Couple of minor downsides - the garden was close but not necessarily convenient, and could do with instructions for the hob but we eventually managed but not mastered it 🤔”

“What a fantastic find for a family holiday. Exceeded expectations in terms of location, accommodation, facilities etc. A great deal of thought has been put in by owners to enhance the comfort of your stay, a lovely home from home. Lovely short walk to a fabulous beach, and not far from Portmadock where there are shops for every need. Would highly recommend, and sure like us you will just want to go back again. Thank you for your hospitality.”

“Excellent property, very clean, outstanding kitchen with plenty crockery, cutlery and equipment. We didn't use the utility room as we only there for a weekend. Property on a narrow road so parking for 6 cars was a bonus. Very close to High street, plenty small shops, excellent chippy and pubs. The owner contacted us in the middle of storm Darragh, which was appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to book again”

“Had a lovely romantic getaway. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym all literally 10 metres away from the room. Also a great little games room with pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis and much more all free of charge, again opposite the room. Lots of friendly farm animals that you can visit as often as you wish, the hosts are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be returning.”

“Large property with lots of space. Nice kitchen and outdoor sitting area. Modern decor and very clean. This was home away from home and was fully equipped. The only issue was that the WiFi was not working. We did not reach out to get it rectified. ”

“Spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Great position and waterside views from front. Occasional train noise at rear. We were there in heatwave so a couple of fans would have been useful.”

“The cottage was perfect. The location was beautiful and the garden was lovely to sit in. The house was clean and had everything we needed. There were helpful instructions for everything and Gareth was at hand if we needed anything else. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon.”
