“We loved staying in this beautiful cottage in Newlyn. Lenn our host provided us with a wealth of really helpful information about checking in and places to eat and visit. “The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. ”

“Expensive but excellent location on a quiet lane in the center of old St. Ives. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. The unit itself was excellent and exceeded expectations. Quiet……

Instructions and communication from owner was spot on. We got the train so cannot comment on parking, but the flat is on a pedestrianised shopping street so there is no vehicular drop off immediately outside. The “shepherd hut” is of course small but also very well thought out to make the most of every inch of space. "The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. In addition, plants inside living room or dining room were dying without proper attention."
