“Was so clean and cute. Was able to walk to downtown Harper’s Ferry with no problem. My favorite thing was the dog treats and toys . Was a nice touch. The foldout futon was also great.”

“We were given some devastating news in mid October that our dog not only had cancer but that it had metastasized and said goodbye to her on 11/7. If we thought we were heartbroken when we got that news, it wasn’t even close to the pain we’ve felt and continue to feel since our goodbye. This was a last minute trip to try to keep our minds pre-occupied from our profound sadness. I referred to it as our distraction trip but it wasn’t so much since we visited the area several times in the past with……

“We were looking forward to our first visit to Harpers Ferry, unfortunately we left early. The house was clean but, the windows have only sheets curtains, therefore at night there’s no privacy, anyone can see you from the road. Also some windows don’t lock. We did receive 100.00 back towards the night we didn’t used.”

“Perfect location! We love to walk everywhere we can and explore and from the house you can get to lower town Harpers Ferry and all the little restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops along the way. The recommendations provided were all great and Snallygasters across the street, Rabbit Hole, Bolivar Bread Bakery, and Epigram Coffee (don’t forget the pastries) were all amazing. Harpers Ferry is just an overall friendly town and even more pet friendly everywhere!! House was all we needed for a nice……

“A very fine house perfect for 6 people. Kitchen nicely provisioned with all the essentials. Nice covered deck and parking for one car at the house. Excellent location near Harper’s Ferry and surrounding towns. Recommended.”

“Beautiful home, close to the attractions and very quiet. Only downside was the Hot tub which was a major reason we rented it, cover was wore out allowing debris to get in and wouldn’t heat above 90 degrees and the controls for the jets one was missing and they would not function all the time. Communication with the host was excellent and speedy responses sent a maintenance worker out but was not able to solve the problem at the moment”

“This cute little cottage (a converted carriage house) was perfect for my stay in Harper's Ferry. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again - particularly if I came in a car (it is near the top of a tall hill, and I came by bike off the C&O towpath, which was a climb!). Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house.……

“What a pleasure! Both the accommodations and our Host! The home was on a very quiet street within walking distance of town. Exceptionally well appointed and very updated (in fact it appears to be brand new). Communication was great, we had zero issues. We were overjoyed with the coffee set up (we’re big coffee lovers), more choices for brewing than you can imagine! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching deer and enjoying our coffee in the mornings. Very spacious and comfortable. Will……

“This is once again a terrible experience using a VRBO listing. We were contacted a few minutes to check-in that the cleaning staff were not done and ready for us to occupy. This was awful because we had been out and about all day and needed to clean up and freshen up because we had a show to attend in Shepherdstown at 5:30 pm. I told the contact we did not care if cleaning people were there we needed to get in at 4pm as promised and we would be gone in 40 minutes!!! but we need to get ready!……
