“We loved our stay in Little Garve. The home was beautiful, with enough room for my husband and I and our 5 kiddos. We loved having a washer/dryer on the property and there is also a clothesline if you like the smell of fresh air. The supermarket was a close 20 minute drive and we ate all of our meals at home with a well stocked kitchen. “My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Foinaven, and had a couple of friends from home visit for a week during our stay. We flew in and out of Inverness and rented a car for a reasonable price so that we could take day trips here and there (we really didn’t need it much in Ullapool, except for larger grocery runs). The house has BEAUTIFUL views from every room and a lot of space. The kitchen and eating space is expansive and fully equipped. Everything was incredibly clean and the……

“Well-equiped kitchen, lovely views from all rooms, the heater was not always doing what we wanted it to do, but there was a lovely fireplace, we lit some cosy fires. Very nicely remote, private lot.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!”
