Kitchenette had 2 hotplates and a microwave but no oven - we used the one oven that was located in the Camp Kitchen. We loved the onsite mini-golf and the Shaws Bay location can't be beat. “Stay one night Christmas eve , and left on 25/12 ,it was Christmas holiday, the city was so quiet, even we could not find any restaurant for our dinner.lucky we find one and only one in the down town the chinese express shop. And the hotel in charge tell us,he would leave on 24 /12 night and no body staff left.told us to leave the key while check out, just ok. it was quiet unbelieve that no in charge staff on duty to manage the hotel. so I took experience that no next time coming on this date.”

“The laundry facilities were convenient, and the sea breeze on the balcony was beautiful, unless the door remained open no sea breeze in the room. The pool was family-friendly and clean. The staff were very polite, helpful and professional, and supplied us with the requested items. Highly recommend Ramada Hotel. ”

“If you wanna go to byron area and not feel like ur confined or leaving broke from just staying somewhere value for everything, this is the best place for everything.....was impressed with the cabin felt very comfortable from bed, couch and just the space with all facilities in there. Even though i had double bunks in loungeroom and was staying by myself i actually found em to be useful sorting all gifts and stuff i took up there....”

“Fantastic accommodation with lots of amenity included - hairdryer, breakfast, a desk, lots of powerpoints, even an extra blanket. Rooms were very clean and minimal but stylish. Would be good if there were more stair openings from the carpark to the suites. Friendly staff! Beautifully kept grounds.”

“The breakfast at the Hotel was magnificent, a great choice of cold buffet food. The Hotel is a beautiful old colonial building restored to a high standard. There was quiet AC in the rooms and comfortable, beds we slept well. Pool area with loungers and sun umbrellas was well maintained . The staff could've be more pleasant or helpful. ”
