“We all had the most wonderful New Year stay at Curlew Lodge, it was spotless with some lovely personal touches such as fresh bread, eggs, butter & a chocolate cake that was delicious! The garden & views were lovely. The weather was terrible for most of our stay so didn’t manage to explore as much as we’d have have liked. The local village was a 25 min walk, we enjoyed a few visits to the Kings Head which was lovely with good food & atmosphere. We look forward to going back again. The only……

“A lovely old spacious property with a stunning modern kitchen with plenty of utensils to cater for everyone. Enough space for everyone to relax at nights. The house was lovely and warm to return to after our chilly November walks. Plenty of bathrooms.A great home for our family celebration.”

“Perfect stay for our holiday, great location for accessing both pennines and dales. House was great, really well kitted out and comfortable. Host was amazing, perfect comms, and immediate replies when we contacted her. Would happily recommend, and stay again if we return to the area.”

“Every detail spot on. Beautiful furnishings, cosy environment with quality bedding, comfy beds and fluffy towels. Hot tub was amazing with great views. Home made cake and loaf with eggs and all essentials to get you started. Well equipped kitchen, fab showers and toiletries. Can’t fault in any way. Coming back soon.”

“What a great find. We needed a place that was big enough to accommodate all our family and this did not disappoint. Spacious rooms, fabulous garden and brilliant location. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was catered for. The house was spotlessly clean. We all loved it and looking forward to booking again for next year. ”

Take essentials with you cos it's a single lane along the countryside and, it's a trek to the nearest shop. It has beautiful views through all the windows and there was a beautiful waterfall just a 10 minute walk from the property. The host was very friendly and replies fast. My sister was unwell on the morning of checkout and the host was extremely……
