Comfortable apartment in a strategic position to discover the center of Budapest on foot, 3 minutes from Via Vaci (pedestrian area), from the Danube with the panoramic Elisabeth Bridge, from the vital Ferenciek Square: public transport hub between metro line 3 and bus.
A few meters away there are two supermarkets open from 8.00 to 22.00, 2 banks with ATM service, pharmacy and bakery, bars and several restaurants.
The apartment is housed in a historic building from 1889 called "Dreher Palota": you will be fascinated by its facades and splendid neo-Renaissance style courtyard. Climbing the particular staircase will seem to relive the atmosphere of Budapest in the late 1800s. .

Inside, the high ceilings and original parquet floors blend well with the contemporary furnishings, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
The bed, positioned on a 2. 10 m high mezzanine. overlooking the double height of the living room giving the space a warm atmosphere.
The super-equipped kitchen with lavazza espresso machine, wifi internet, TV with foreign channels, excellent selection of bed linen and towels will guarantee you a peaceful and pleasant stay.
The apartment is adjacent to two others, an excellent solution for families or groups of friends who want to stay together.

Great location, layout, and vibes

Very nice apartment, with tasteful decorations and a good layout that makes great use of the space. Enjoyed the semi-renovated building (used to be owned by a beer baron, for those who aren’t from Hungary and know Dreher), including the unusual elevator. The lighting is just as cozy in person as it is in the photos. A/C worked well even on hot days, and the building stayed surprisingly cool even with it off during the day. Very comfy bed. Great location, easy to access on foot and via transit.Only minor complaint was the shower: it occasionally went very cold for a few minutes for no apparent reason, and I didn’t love the provided soap.

The location was accessible to public transportation yet very quiet for sleeping. The host supplied a video which made checkin seamless. The host was quick to respond to questions. The location also allowed us to walk to the Danube and sights nearby.

The apartment is stylish and very cleverly designed , but the stairs are tricky for older people , and the fridge door knob is difficult to pull. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the building ,and the location is excellent for access to the city .

Great location next to the water, shopping, restaurants, and most importantly well situated with walking distance to the metro and bus lines. The flat was perfect for a long or short stay! Host was great at communicating how to access the place as well as making the most of our stay. Extremely pleased, and look foward to going back.

Perfect location!

Home away from Home...

The property was very nice and comfortable! We stayed here for a month and enjoyed every minute of our trip! We actually rented two apartments, with my parents staying in one and my husband and I staying in another. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here for an extended time. If there was something we needed or a question we had, either Luca or Stefano were more than willing to help us out. The location was great, the metro and buses were close. There were several good restaurants and shops within walking distance. I highly recommend Ruben Etterem on Magyar U., great food at good prices! The Gerloczy has a great breakfast and is right around the corner. There are way too many to name. We can't wait to go back!! WE LOVE BUDAPEST!!

Lovely place and location

We had a great stay here, the apartment was in a great location. It was quiet and very modern, nice comfy bed and good facilities all as advertised in the pictures. Would definitely stay again if we are back in Budapest!

The apartment was in a wonderful location to see most of the important sites in Budapest. We were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to see and public transportation is close by. The apartment was beautiful and very clean and well stocked. We loved the inner courtyard of the building. The Danube River is 4 blocks away and the street that goes across the Elizabeth bridge turns into Kossuth Lagos Utca. There are great restaurants nearby and two grocery stores within a block. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend!

Budapest ist immer eine Reise wertDie Wohnung ist

Die Wohnung ist sehr interessant, allerdings der Zugang zum Schlafzimmer nicht sicher genug ,es fehlt ein Geländer! Die Kommunikation gestellte sich als schwierig dar, man darf doch erwarten , daß in der Landessprache kommuniziert werden kann und nicht nur in Englisch ! Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen und befindet sich in einem sehr schönen Haus.Die Einrichtung ist nicht unbedingt bequem und der TV garantiert keinen Empfang. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut für jüngere Menschen bestens geeignet.

Moving to Budapest

We needed a temporary place while our daughter looked for permanent housing in Budapest before attending university there. Stefano was awesome in working with us as parents to help get her safely into the apartment during COVID quarantine and restrictions. We appreciate his willingness to make sure everything was as advertised and communicating so well with us. When we go to visit Budapest, we will definitely be contacting this property again. Magical Modern stay in Budapest

We can’t say enough about this property! It exceeded our expectations in every way! Modern, bright, spacious, clean. An architectural gem in the heart of Budapest. Stefano was extremely accommodating and had a car and driver pick us up at the train station and drop us at the airport for our return trip. He provided great tips to maximize our visit. The location was superb! Steps to Vaci Utca and great shopping and fabulous restaurants. Barely a 7 minute walk to the Danube and Elizabeth Bridge and riverside promenade!! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and recommend it highly!!!

Delightful Studio

This was a delightful little apartment, thoroughly modern and well equipped. The location is absolutely great for exploring the Pest side of Budapest. The building itself is old and it appears that not many apartments have been refurbished yet, but as that happens, it will be even more attractive. It was difficult to identify it as the street address we were given and we had a few moments of anxiety before Giovanni arrived. The front entrance is not attractive with dilapidated advertising showcases on the walls, and it would have been good to know that. And it would also enhance the property if those were removed. Giovanni did a great job of showing us around and immediately upon arrival booked a taxi with a great driver named Tomas, to pick us up again in five days. If we have the opportunity to visit Budapest again, we will definitely be looking to stay at one of Stefano’s properties.

Fully agree with all the high end reviews

Stephano is a strong communicator. We took advantage of his offer for an airport pickup. We arrived at the apartment and were checked in by Giovanni who was charming and personal. The apartment was as nice as advertised. The use of space all over the apartment was clever. Budapest was reasonable for costs so we really only ate breakfast at the apartment. All appliances and air conditioning were quality. I could not imagine being in a better location. My wife and I are walkers and all tourist attractions were walkable. Loved our holiday, loved the accommodations, loved how easily Stephano answered our questions. GREAT VALUE

Perfection in Budapest

From the moment we arrived we were looked after in a professional personable manner by the “ Team” behind the apartments of Dreher Palace. The driver from the airport , in his spotless cab delivered us into the waiting care of Giovanni , who gave us a thorough orientation to the apartment. The apartment is just as presented, built to a very high spec and smartly styled. The location was perfect. Just a few blocks to the shops and restaurants in the pedestrian areas of Váci Utca and steps beyond that to the Danube, where we spent many hours in the promenade watching the very stylish world go by. Aldi, a well equipped grocery store is across the street. Budapest capitulated and held our interest for the month of May . You can walk down the broad tree lined streets of Andrássy Utca, past Gucci and Louis Vuitton and stop in the Parisi coffee shop , in a restored Art Deco mansion with architecture to die for, and for the price of a torte and espresso (cheap) be transported to another time. Fantastic. I feel I have made a friend in our host Luca, who’s warm welcome set the tone for our stay. We will stay in touch. You cannot go wrong with this property and it’s lovely attention to detail .

One of the best we've been

The apartment is sparkling clean, has wonderful towels, everything that you would need in the way of cooking and relaxing, lots of storage, the bedding is very comfortable, everything is nearby so the location is fantastic and check-in is very easy with the host. The air conditioning was very welcome, too. You would be hard-pressed to find something better. We loved it here.

Great apartment in a great location

This is a great place to stay. Close to public transit, shopping, food, and sights. It is great to have your own kitchen and laundry for a longer stay. My only complaint was that it was advertised that PayPal was fine to use, but then the manager insists you pay the PayPal fees on top of the advertised price. If that is the policy it should be put clearly in the advertisement and not sprung after booking.
