“It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river.”

“Nice place ”

“Cute little place for a get-away. Great price. Just what I was looking for. I stayed a couple of weeks nights. I was a little worried about noise, etc from pizza place next door. It was not a problem at all. That may be a little different on a weekend, idk. Overall I'm happy I picked The Funky Little Shach to stay!”

“The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.”

“Very peaceful and relaxing area, loved sitting on porch watching the barges go by.”

“Cozy and clean home that had all of the little things we needed! Easy access to all of the cool hiking spots in the area!”

“Very clean and so cute! Our host responded quickly. It was very peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We would recommend to others.”

“Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.”

“Unit was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Great communication and thoughtful welcome treats. We look forward to staying again.”

“Very clean and very nice! Had plenty of room and the temperature of the house was perfect.”

“Very nice host was super”

“The place was in such a mess. We did not stay there. I would like my money refunded or a credit for my next vacation.”

“We decided to book this place because it was close to Garden of The Gods, and it was available at a great price. The view of the Ohio River was amazing. The host was friendly, and the room was clean. The only issue we had was the doorknob to the bathroom would stick, making it a little difficult to get out of the bathroom.”

“Convenience is key when you're on the road like us! Just a short drive from local attractions as well.”

“What beautiful little house. Excellent touches. House had everything we needed. Firewood for firepit was great!! The ladder to the loft is a little steep..BUT VERY Sturdy, with handles on each side. I would love to stay here again. Host was very responsive.”

“Very clean property and very well kept. Peaceful location.”

“Would stay here again.”
