"I could see this as a perfect place for a larger family vacation. Several condos in close proximity with one another with easy beach access. For a solo couple, it was still remarkable! We mostly had the place to ourselves but there was a an employee on the property to address any needs we had. We took the kayaks out every morning to a great swimming spot just a few strokes away. We’ll plan to be back! Quick access to airport. Check this place out!"

"Although a little rough to get to, it's more than well worth the effort. The space is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and has a staff that are attentive and ready to help worth anything. "We really enjoyed the stay. The staff was great and the facility was great with constant cleaning and maintenance. However the owner of the building arrived on site and was staying in one of the units. While we were relaxing on the chairs near the beach, we heard the owner berating an employee(s) over the intercom system. "We spent 14 days at Splash Inn over December–January, and this was our third stay and there’s a reason we keep coming back! The rooms are clean, the staff is wonderful, and the food is consistently delicious. The hotel’s location is extremely convenient, with everything you need just a 2–5 minute walk away. West Bay is easily accessible by a $5 water taxi that departs right outside the hotel, and the airport is only a $25 taxi ride. The dock space is the best around and perfect for watching stunning nightly sunsets or relaxing with a good book in the sun. You can enter the water directly from the dock or take a short two-minute walk to the beach. In the evenings, it’s a treat to watch a beautiful stingray swimming by, along with an array of colorful fish. If you dive, this is hands-down the best dive center in Roatán ….you won’t find better, even on Utila! Chris, who runs the shop, is always present and makes sure you feel comfortable while addressing any concerns. Dive instructors Stella and Gem, along with dive guides Sterling and Tuna, were consistently professional, attentive, and thorough. You always know what to expect with no surprises. Gear is taken to the boats and set up in advance, making everything seamless and stress-free. Captain Brian not only expertly navigated the boats but also assisted with gear and ensured safety was always the top priority. With up to three dives a day and night dives when available, it’s easy to log plenty of dive time. "

"The location is perfect--steps from the beautiful beach and a quick walk to dozens of great restaurants. Breakfast was included with our stay and we really enjoyed the options. Excellent coffee and services in the clean, air-conditioned cafe. Our room was clean upon arrival and the cleaning staff was great. Some quirks--we hung our towels to be reused to safe water but the cleaning staff always took them and left brand new ones. We were able to get clean beach towels when we needed them. We also appreciated the 5 gallon bottles of water that everyone had access to. We enjoyed sitting on the deck reading (it rained quite a bit during our visit) and we met some nice guests from all over the world. Our room--211--is a family room with a full size fridge, microwave, and stove. It has two queen size beds. A shower curtain would be helpful as you couldn't help but get water on the floor, and it would have helped with privacy for a family sharing one bathroom. And hooks in the shower would help with all the dripping bathing suits. Small suggestions but we loved it and we would definitely stay again. "

"Second time staying here on my dive trips. Very convenient to join Aggressor trips. Staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Many are the same from last few years. Hotel is going through an exterior renovation, so a little noisy at times. Should be a nice upgrade once finished with a new pool and patio area. Would have no problem returning here again."
