“Room was a bit cramped but clean and well looked after staff are friendly and very helpful my only fault is bed is creaky when moving food is excellent all round a excellent place to stay”

“Great friendly place! The only reason I have it 4 stars is due to no fans/AC, which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but we were in Ireland during a heat wave. Staff was so friendly, room was clean and we had a family room and it fit the 5 of us comfortably.”

“WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. ”

“I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.”

The rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. You will get a friendly welcome from owner, Paul Doran, in the dining room. Staff is very responsive and helpful. We loved this place- a really special experience.”
