"Overall, excellent location and place and everything was delightful, I would suggest a floor fan / oscillating fan in the apartment since it can get stuffy with all the windows closed and it would also provide some white noise over the people upstairs when they walk around at night. Someone smokes in the area by the elevator on a lower floor that rises to the upper floors but I assume there is no rule against that. "

"Loved the property. The website does definitely state its rural, so it warns you, but it does also mention that its just 2 buses from Alicante airport, and fails to mention the one hour and 10 minute walk from castalla to the hotel. Totally worth it, beautiful hotel to set up a retreat for yourself for a couple days, but people might struggle in the heat woth the walk if planning on taking buses"

"We had a memorable stay at this historical castle that has been sympathetically renovated. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very stylishly rustic. There is a nice good sized swimming pool with plenty of good quality sun loungers. The surrounding land is pretty and peaceful. There aren't many staff but the hotel operates an honesty type service for drinks (you take drinks from the bar and put your room number to be charged on checkout. The prices are reasonable). The breakfast is included and the selection is tasty with some daily variation. Dinner in the restaurant is recommended. The menu is changable every day and is a nice surprise from the owner who is an excellent chef. The presentation and taste are outstanding All in all, we enjoyed our stay and are hoping to come back again in the future."

"We stayed for weeks in this wonderful villa. There are not enough stars to give an accurate rating Super5*The villa is fully fences 6ft strong wire, escape proof with electric gates - fantastic security and peace of mind for pets or children.Every facility was in excellent condition from the large fridge freezer and kitchen appliances, air conditioning and fans in bedrooms. This is a COMFORTABLE home.Special mentions. The large pool , heated by the canopy and sun felt like we were swimming in a spa, coloured pool.lights at night made swiming magical. Fairy lights in all the trees, soft solar outdoor lighting surrounding the house.A hard tennis court!A Cinema room The most obliging, friendly and amazing host. Luis is the nicest man and his generous gifts of homemade lemonade were welcome and delicious. You will not be disappointed, Luis works very hard to ensure this villa provides everything that you will need and more. Lastly surrounded by the spectacular 360 Magimo Mountains - WOW! Walkers/cyclists can access the Via Verde trail straight from the property! Miles of well managed cycling trails. A local bus stop to Alicante etc. And a very popular famous restaurant The Maison Magimo is a must ! It's pricey but worth every euro! And pet friendly. We would love to return. And definitely recommend to all our friends. A very special holiday in a very special authentic Spanish home."
