"The pool (which was why we choose this place) was closed 10 days before our arrival (from Oct 1st), but this was not mentioned anywhere. The host was very nice and managed to get it ready after one day, but is was never fully cleaned.Dishwasher also didn’t work. "We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. "The owners were exceptionally polite. The beds were so very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were terrific. We felt very welcome. There was a little language barrier but using translator with them worked perfectly. We wanted to see the real parts of Spain, this was the adventure we wanted.
