“La Cucina exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family gathered from three places in Europe and the US to meet for time together mixed with seeing the best of Rome. This place is just as the photos suggest. We cooked in the magnificent kitchen and grilled on the oven / grill outside. We played pickle ball and the kids went swimming. Our host were available and always gracious. We are so thankful for the time we shared at the dining table and living room. And we played cards in the well……

“This property and especially the outside space is beautiful a big pool for the kids many seats in shadow and sun with great views and still rome nearby (45 min). The house was very clean with big and very peaceful sleeping rooms! The living and kitchen were, when compared to the rest of the house a bit sparce decorateded and equiped, which you mainly notice on a raining day only”

“While we can't say enough good things about our stay and especially the helpfulness of the property manager, there are a couple of things to note regarding the information in the listing and reservation. First, there should be clearer definition of the situation regarding air conditioning and fans. It was not what we expected and did present some challenges given the temperatures we experienced. Second, the reservation indicated that we had the whole villa. We were caught a bit off guard to……

“Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Sacrofano bei Gherardo wirklich sehr genossen. Sofort vom ersten Augenblick an fühlten wir uns heimisch und sehr gut aufgenommen. Dazu trug im Wesentlichen die freundliche, unkomplizierte und aufgeschlossene Art des Vermieters bei. Gherardo hat uns auch in dieser Woche mit zahlreichen Informationen was Zugverbindungen, Wanderrouten und Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung von Sacrofano versorgt. Die Wohnung entsprach voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen, war sauber und sehr gut……

“We enjoyed our stay in Villa Simone! It is an easy travel by train and Metro to the city centre which takes about 40 to 60 minutes depending on the site you wish to visit (incl. Walking). The house is located close to the train station which makes it easy to walk there but you will also hear the train and traffic when sitting outside. This did however not disturb us too much. The house is very well equipped and was very clean. There are also a few restaurants in walking distance. We enjoyed the……

“Super property and very attentive host. Property is very large and well equipped. Set on a hill it has fantastic views and makes the most of the setting with sun trap / pool and beautiful tended gardens. We had great weather in late September and travelled daily to Rime for the Ryder cup which was about 1hr by car. Wider towns have restaurants and food / markets and not plagued by tourists”

“Wir haben die Unterkunft für 5 Tage für einen Golfausflug unter Freunden gebucht. Das Haus ist sehr groß, mit 3 getrennten Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern, was für unsere Gruppe ideal war. Alles war makellos sauber. Wir haben die großzügige Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht über die römischen Hügel ausgiebig genutzt. Die Kommunkation mit Giorgio lief schnell und unkompliziert. “Terrific location for a large family gathering - kids loved the pool and the tennis court, adults loved the space and quiet. Train station 15 minutes away got us to the centre of Rome in an hour. Roberto was a responsive and welcoming host.”

Un lieu plein de charme , sorte de veranda, le Cocoon, nous rassemblait le soir pour y diner tous ensemble . Possibilite d’avoir une cuisiniere qui prend tout en charge... Tres beau et très grand parc..., avec piscine. Grand espace de jeu et de repos dehors.... Nous avions loué des autos à l’aéroport pour aller prendre le train à une gare proche... train tres frequent qui arrive à Flaminia, place……

“Actually it's not too far away from city centre (15 min metro + 15 min bus). The hotel is clean and the room is new. Check-in was allowed when I arrived at 1:30pm. The breakfast was up to standard with cappucino. The only thing which is not good enough (not bad though) is the room size.”
