After you've been to all of the amazing attractions in Costa del Este, there's more to discover in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, throw your bags in the trunk and hit the road. We've pulled together some road trips we know you'll enjoy:

• You'll find Gatun Locks and loads more interesting attractions in Colon. From Costa del Este, it's roughly 40 miles away.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Panama, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car.
