Car Rental Monte Carlo

There are lots of things to see and do in Monte Carlo, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Book a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding area at your leisure. Add these fantastic drives to your travel schedule:

• Make tracks to Sao Paulo for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 100 miles from Monte Carlo, it's home to numerous cool attractions, including Paulista Museum.
• Your next pit stop? Campos do Jordão, which is around 35 miles away. Amantikir Park is one local hot spot you shouldn't miss.
• Get out into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Christ the Redeemer. You'll find it roughly 180 miles from Monte Carlo.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Brazil, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country in order to rent a car. You should also note that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of ID as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. Some additional requirements to rent a car internationally are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be 25 or over in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the fine print before you drive off the lot. You typically can't cross country borders, drive on ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
