Car Rental Myeonmok-dong

Once you've covered all the fabulous sights in Myeonmok-dong, there's heaps more to see in the region. Grab the keys to a rental car, pack your bags in the trunk and take to the open road. We've come up with some road trips we think you'll enjoy:

• Jeonju is approximately 120 miles from Myeonmok-dong. Notable tourist attractions like Jeonju Hanok Village should be high on your list here.
• Located 100 miles away, Gangneung is also popular with travelers. Set aside time to check out Jeongdongjin Beach while you're in town. It's one of the reasons people love this thriving city.
• Spend time in nature and inhale the fresh air at Gwangalli Beach. You'll find it roughly 200 miles from Myeonmok-dong.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in South Korea, then you'll likely need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. Please also consider that if an IDP is required, it won't be valid on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your driver's license and passport. Some additional requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of vehicles available to rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the rules and regulations before driving away. With rental cars, you usually can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental vehicle.
