“Good location, just a little tired and old.”

“We booked 3 rooms because the pics showed that they have been updated with laminate flooring. Carpet is a big no as I suffer from dust allergies. Our rooms were located on the 2nd floor & were not updated & all had carpet. There is also no elevator. I voiced my concerns to the staff regarding the outdated rooms as this is not what we saw online when we booked. The rooms are in the process of being updated, but have not reached the 2nd floor yet. Staff was very eager to move us to the 1st……

“It was very good for what we needed to attend a family funeral in Carthage, MO. Staff was great. Parking right in front of our door. Located near shopping for anything you might need. Good luck to the new management. We thank you helping us during a sad time. Travelers from Rhode Island.”

“People were nice. Place was just run down. No wifi”

“Everything was clean and walking distance to many shops.”

“Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. It did have an old house smell upon arrival but we cranked the air conditioning down and used an air freshening spray and that seemed to help. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house but it was a good place to sleep and shower.”

“We loved this place and the location. Some care re the parking stipulations is needed, but the host was helpful and we experienced no issues. Being able to walk the square is a real bonus.”

“This quaint little 100-year-old house had 2 bedrooms 1 bath large kitchen large living room with Dining and laundry area. Located in the great little town Carthage Missouri we enjoyed history of the civil war. lots of antique shops an enjoyed traveling on Route 66. Close to the Precious Moments Chapel ... across the street is the Travel center that has wonderful customer service so you can ask them about what is going on in the town (they also have a penny machine) We did venture down the road……

“Loved the place. The Location was great for our needs. The King bed was so comfy we want to buy one.”

“Very clean, beautiful room.”

“We had a great stay at Bountiful Cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of nine. The kitchen was spacious and accommodating to cook breakfast. Communication with host was prompt and kind. Only complaint was there were no extra blankets provided.”

“Would stay again”

“Really convenient..cute ..cozy.. clean”

“Super easy to find, good accommodations, fit for one or a small group. Only cons were that the futon is comfy as a couch, maybe not a bed; and the kitchen doesn't have an oven or toaster.Would absolutely book again or even look at the other properties at the site!”

“The staff was so friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. Comfortable beds and breakfast was simple and good.”
