"It's a quiet, unique, beautiful location. I couldn't get Wifi from inside my room. I reached out to the host who responded but it didn't improve. I got 1 bar when outside the room. I'm a digital nomad so Wifi access is really valuable to me. I recommend they add screens to the window and door to allow air without insects to flow in the room and service the AC so the room can be more dry (typical challenge in Portugal). I called in advance to confirm whether gluten-free and lactose-free options were available and was told that they were. Unfortunately, the gluten-free selection was limited to sliced bread, and the lactose-free option was simply lactose-free milk. I would have appreciated a little more variety given that I had specifically checked ahead of time. That being said, the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner was amazing. The food was exceptional and definitely a highlight of our stay."
