“Charming hotel. Like home from home. Lovely homely room with balcony and beautiful view. Comfy bed. The landlord John was very welcoming. Home cooked to order delicious hot breakfast. Also cereals and fruit available. Gave me a little box of chocolates on departure. Only stayed one night yet felt I was family. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Sofia”

“I had an average overall experience l. The hotel interior is great, the customer service was pleasant but just ok and my room was a disappointment as it had the wirr of the kitchen fans going for the bulk of my stay and no view at all. If booking through a third party it seems to be a norm you could have a room experience like mine. If you want a great room ensure you pay for the view.”

“Walking distance to the small village of Garrison and lough Melvin. Beautiful place to base yourself and both Frances and Martin were the most hospitable of host's.”

“First visit and will definitely return. Staff are really friendly, room was spacious and spotless. Proximity to all amenities was perfect. Food was excellent and portions were great. My only concern was the lack of knowledge and consideration for people with coeliac disease, that was the only negative factor. Thank you ”

“Neil the host welcomed us when we arrived and explained everything. The cabin was spotless, and full of everything we needed, and cosy and warm. Hot tub was a joy no matter the weather, and we really enjoyed a movie night on the comfy sofa and projector.”

“It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”
