“We booked for our elopement ceremony. 6 of us, for 4 nights. It’s a beautiful property & overall had a pleasant stay. Some things I wish were communicated in advance. We spoke to the host before booking, ensuring we could have our 6person ceremony, photogs, & use a private chef. The chef he recommended cost more than we were originally told. But he was incredible. I also asked the host about recs for where to get things in town & he just said everything is in town which wasn’t super helpful.……

“Schöner Urlaub in einem toll gelegenen Ferienhaus. Super grosser Pool, perfekt sauber gemacht von der reizenden und sehr zuvorkommenden Serenella! Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen für alle die, die etwas abenteuerliche Zufahrt und so einige Krabbel und Schwirr- Tiere im Haus und natürlich auch draußen sind, nicht scheuen. Die Alleinlage und die absolut Ruhe sind ein Genuss , zum Einkaufen muss man halt ein bisschen fahren. Wir waren fast jeden Tag mit dem Mountainbike unterwegs die Umgebung……

“The location is great, you have beautiful Tuscan view in front of yard. The room and bathroom are large, clean and modern with full kitchen. Good choice of breakfast, restaurant onsite is good for dinner. Free parking is good for travel by car.”

The views from the beautiful garden are absolutely stunning, and we much enjoyed our breakfasts in the sunshine outside. “Also wenn man keinen Neubau erwartet, dann ist es ein sehr schönes Grundstück. Wir waren Super zufrieden. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Der Pool Überragend, ein Grill wird zur Nutzung bereitgestellt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alles in Allem weiter zu empfehlen! Danke”

“We were group of 16 adults and three children under the age of three. Sonja and Diego could not have been better hosts! They are truly lovely people! Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is stunning and very child friendly! We opted to have Sonja cook breakfast and dinner for us each day, and her food was absolutely delicious! You must try their pizza and bbq! We enjoyed the tennis court, feeding the horses, and day trips to Siena, Florence, and Montepulciano. The villa location is……

“Neben der tollen Lage besticht das Haus vor allem durch seine Ausstattung (inkl. der bequemen Betten). Die sehr hilfsbereite und ortskundige Gastgeberin verschönert auch mit tollen Tipps eventuelle Regentage. Wir haben uns SEHR SEHR wohl gefühlt (und unser Hund auch!)”

“This was a beautiful property well maintained and perfectly located in a historic building. The breakfast was delicious, Ricardo the host was wonderful and our room was space and comfortable! The only comment was without A/C the windows needed to stay open and the street was loud.”

“This apartment is in a charming medieval village just outside Montalcino that brings you back in time. The views are phenomenal. The apartment is very comfortable and with all the amenities! The host Francesco is amazing and helped us with planning some outings while in town. Highly recommend!”

“The property has beautiful views and a peaceful, remote location. It is well equipped for cooking meals and they conveniently provide a starter supply of necessities (kitchen spices, hand soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, etc.). The property owner, as well as the local property manager, were both very responsive to our questions and the check in and out processes are simple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Loved our stay at House of Alice. It’s very centrally located in Tuscany. Francesco was wonderful and took care of reservations and recommendations for us. The village itself is very small. The house was clean and well appointed. Small recommendations are; it could have used more efficient seating in the living room, a few more kitchen items, larger coffee maker etc. Also the bathrooms could use hooks and a shelf. Overall a wonderful and charming place! I would highly recommend!”

“A melhor acomodação que ficamos na Toscana. Fica na cidade histórica, rodeada de lojas, restaurantes maravilhosos, igrejas e construções históricas. Me fez sentir parte da história de Montepulciano. Acomodação muito charmosa, serviço fantástico fora do comum e café da manhã e amenidades maravilhosas. Muito espaçoso e aconchegante. Tínhamos um piano em nossa sala. Bebidas, licores, castanhas e comidinhas disponíveis sem custo durante todo o tempo. A Elena é muito atenciosa em todo o atendimento.……

“The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk). It's even……

“This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”
