“We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was amazing. We had a small hiccup when we arrived, and she responded immediately and quickly found a solution. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.The neighbors were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel even more welcome. We loved having access to the pond down the mountain and the beautiful stream. My grandson had the best time fishing in the pond and wading in the stream—it made for some……

“Fine as frog hair”

“Beautiful property, great communication and such an easy check in and check out. Ample space for our group of six, and a great weekend getaway! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!”

“The place was clean and neat, and enjoyable as a secluded cabin with great view.”

“Beautiful place! Quiet. Comfortable. Felt like home. We didn’t want to leave. But, we’ll be back!”

“This property was so much fun! Our family of six stayed here and had tons of fun tubing down the creek, fishing in the creek, getting in the hot tub and sitting in the many porches. It was stocked excellently, clean, spacious and Amy was extremely responsive and gracious.”

“Lovely little cabin at a wonderful price point. The walk down to the river takes less than a minute, and it’s very private. Lots of really cool rocks to be found in the Hiawassee river, and it’s a short drive into the town of Hiawassee or to Helen.”

“Wonderful place! Everything was clean and neat , property was beautiful. My husband did a little fishing, the 2 swing overlooking the river, were the so comfortable.Only negative was the sofa, way too short, making it difficult to stand up.”

“Cabin needed small improvements but for the most part was nice. Location is beautiful. Hot tub lights didn't work and some jets were not working. Shower needed some extra attention on cleaning.”

“Excellent, cozy cabin in a great, central location. Host was very responsive to our needs which was great as well. When driving to the property make sure you take Sullivan Trail… DO NOT take Cindy cove road.”

“The "Stay at Werne" rental was perfect for our 2-night stay near the John C. Campbell School. The unit was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The host was very accommodating and has the unit well stocked with essentials for cooking, etc. The view from the deck was absolutely stunning. Wildlife was abundant with a nightly chorus of bullfrogs calling from area pond to area pond. We were 4-10 miles from all the places we visited during our stay. We would choose this unit again if……

“Very nice and clean!! I will stay again!”

“This cabin is amazing. The pro hiking trails are awesome. The stream that leads to the pond out front sets a real nice ambiance in the morning for coffee or in the evening with a beverage on the screened in porch. It's very close to Helen, waterfalls and Vogel State Park. There are fireflies at night and they really make it magical.”

“This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay.”

“A prefect little home away from home. We rented Bear Paw Cabin #7 because it was more secluded than the rest of the cabins. We got that "in the middle of woods" aesthetic while being only a short drive away to the town of Helen. It was like being "off-grid" but with the amenities of being at home (water/electricity, we can't live without it lol). Myself, my husband, and our two teenagers had plenty of room. We really enjoyed our stay, check in/out was super easy. Penny, our host, was……

“Perfect place for a couples getaway!! We even had daily visits from a deer, everyday we were there. We would definitely rent again.”

“This place was beyond perfect for us and our fur baby Jasper. Rochelle was so nice and her special note and cookies topped it off. We will be back soon !!!”
