“Bei unserer Ankunft konnten wir das Haus zu erst ein wenig für uns erkunden, da Check In über die Schlüsselbox erfolgte. Was für uns unglaublich angenehm war. Jim, der „Verwalter“ vor Ort stellte sich später kurz vor. Sehr diskret, nicht aufdringlich und sehr freundlich. Das Haus begrüßte uns bereits wohlig warm vorgeheizt mit einem selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Vielen Dank hierfür :) Da wir über Weihnachten blieben, wurde sogar der Wohnbereich geschmückt. Das Haus ist einfach super ausgestattet,……

“Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)”

“The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!”

“Ireland itself and especially this residence gave us way more than we expected. we rent this house for 7 persons and stayed 10 days. In fact it felt more like 3 weeks. You instantly feel home - there is a big difference if the residence is owner used or just commercially used for tourists.”

“I was initially rather intimidated by the antique perfection as shown on the website photos and wondered if my rambunctious family would leave it intact but very pleasantly surprised to find the house well worn and quirky . It reminded me of staying in a friends home - there was nothing to remind us that it was a rental -family possessions and photos - books and objects all trustingly left around which gave the house a warm and very haopy feel. Very comfortable beds with good linens and pillows……

“A couple of miles from historic Cong. The main house is also a B&B. Everything was as advertised. It would have been nice if the big drip coffee maker worked (no filter papers and not sold in the local store). Cong itself is well worth exploring with its ancient ruins and good walking trails.”

“Tremendous country location steeped in history. Peaceful and quiet with lots of outside things to do. Finola was a very gracious host, who provided a wealth of recommendations for things to do and see in the area. Upon our arrival, Finola was there to greet us and had the fireplace going to stave off the damp, chilly spring weather. Great hiking in the area. Ventured to Galway and Cong for day trips. The town of Headford was nearby which had a Tesco for groceries. Locals were friendly and……

“When I arrived, the television did not work it took a little bit for the manager to come to figure it out and when I was leaving it still didn't work it only worked for a short period of time. Also, I was supposed to have breakfast at 7 AM today I was checking out and I got down at 7:12 and they weren't set up yet. . Hotel it was all bit noisy with all the children. They have people staying there that are not official guest, which makes it a little bit challenging. The fitness center is great,……
