“Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. “Communication with Julie was good. The apartment was great, warm/cosy, comfortable bed with lots of amenities in the kitchen although we ate out mostly.Having the place to ourselves was ideal having brought our dog. The view from sitting at the table was lovely with it being right next to the river and also the walking paths. Would definitely use again, so much better than staying in a hotel.”

“We stayed for a week in February, and it was fabulous. The weather was a bit damp on and off, but the Grooms Bothy was always warm and welcoming. (I want underfloor heating!). It’s well equipped, close to Kelso for everything you need, and in a quiet and pretty location. The owners live next door, and a with their 2 little dogs are friendly and on hand if you need something. The welcome pack of milk, snacks and wine was a lovely touch. The Borders are lovely, we really enjoyed travelling……
