"This was our second stay at the Van der Valk Ghent. This stay was as good as our first ever stay! Excellent hotel group, we have booked a stay at the Van Der Valk Amsterdamand its absolutely amazing! Staying again, hell yes!"

"We booked a family room with reserved parking. The parking was a huge garage with roller shutter door. Car was secure with no risk of theft or being towed away. It was massive. The main room had kettle, coffee machine, drinks fridge, safe, TV. There was a second room accessed via internal stairs, this had 3 beds and own toilet /shower room. Great for privacy. I wouldn't be afraid to stay here in colder weather, massive radiators. It was spotless and very comfortable. Great location, just 10 minute walk from loads of buzzing restaurants. "

"The hotel was excellent - large, clean room with plenty of storage in a perfect location. We did not have a car and were able to walk everywhere. We planned our stay long before we knew about the Ghent Festival but enjoyed easy access to all of the music stages and festival fun. The annual noose bearers procession passed directly in front of the hotel. An easy walk to Gravensteen castle, St. Bavo’s cathedral, the belfry and canal cruises. Love our stay and the city! "

"Property was good great location but something i was never experienced in other hotels in other countries was to pay for parking. I think you cross the line "

"Great check-in experience, friendly and helpful staff, clean room, great restaurant and rooftop. The only issue we had was being charged extra 47 euros when we were told they were not busy and could checkout at 2pm at no charge. Highly recommend otherwise. "

"Fantastic apartment /hotel. Really clean and spacious. Great facilities in the room. Very quiet inside. Breakfast quality really is outstanding and I’m no foodie usually. Parking is a bit tight for some of the ‘garage’ spaces (I have a v90) but thankfully I managed to grab on of the alternative spaces in the car park shortly after arriving. Aalst is such a nice and relaxing place with Tower Hotel being a 2 minute walk to the shopping precinct and lots of restaurants and bars. "

"Clean and looks newly furbished. Hotel staff good in english and easy to communicate with. The car park is a bit pricy at 20 euros per night but it s convenient and secure so we went for it anyway. We stayed during Ghent festival and there s performances around the city - this hotel is just 20 min walk from the happenings and is not disturbed by the noise. Would recommend."

"Perfect hotel near train station. Easy in and out for one night stay. I gave the condition of facilities a 3 star because the hallways are extremely narrow and could potentially be a fire hazard. Would not be allowed in USA. We were on first floor and felt safe enough but not sure about higher floors. "
