The space
This newly built custom 2BR/1 Bath guest house sits on 2 treed acres in the Black Forest. The space occupies the upper level of a detached garage a short distance from the main house. The orientation and design of the guest house create a very private setting for our guest to enjoy their own space in the woods. A key feature of this home is the attached, covered patio that places the occupants above the surrounding grade and in the tree canopy. Enjoy a soak in our large hot tub while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding property. Indoor/Outdoor living was a central theme in the design of this space. Colorado Springs' climate allows Spring to Fall to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! A gas fireplace will warm you on those cool evenings. The kitchen was thoughtfully designed to facilitate efficient cooking and top-notch hosting of your family and fellow guests. Furniture and beds and all solid, new, and comfortable! Bedding slip-covers are washed after every stay so you can rest assured you're getting a clean, safe sleeping experience.
