Our family always enjoys smores by the fire and Christmas movies by the fire afte a long and beautiful hike at Rickett’s GlenMy only feedback I would have ur to maybe have one more small couch or chairs so everyone can sit in a comfortable chair when we watch movies by the fire. ”

“I cannot emphasize what a fantastic rental home this was! The community was lovely and we made sure to use all the amenities! Dinner at the Greek shack was so good we went TWICE! My kids actually kayaked to the rec center and played racquetball and swam and kayaked back!! The access to the lake is unparalleled! We all felt so relaxed! It was just as quiet and peaceful as we hoped! The home was clean and new and thoughtfully appointed- everything we needed was there! The boats were so easy to pop……

“We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful, I have never used a shower with three shower heads that spray at the same time before. It was kind of like standing in a waterfall. The patio off the master bedroom was great, with a firepit, table, hot tub, and swing. The elk head hanging in the great room is huge. I would highly recommend, the only neighbors I saw were 15 wild turkeys that walked by the deck the second day. Host was great”

“Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. ”

“We took my father-in-law here for a weekend as my wife and sister-in-law grew up having a cabin in Hillsgrove. We hit some "old spots" that they grew up with and heard many old stories. The campground is awesome and in a beautiful setting, however the best part is Russ, the Manager. He is courteous, personable and an asset to anybody visiting the facility. Being dog friendly was definitely a plus in our book!! We will be back to visit your beautiful campground and we are planning on……

“Great secluded location off the main road. There is one other viewable cabin. Easy drive to Ricketts Glen State Park with the lower end Falls Trail just down the road a few or a 10 minute drive up the mountain to the main park entrance. Driveway entrance was always a bit difficult to see, but Ricketts Glen Hotel being across the street helped with locating. Main road is fairly flat with 55 mph speed limit so caution should be taken when looking for driveway entrance. Wi-Fi was not mentioned,……
