“We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family.”

“The apartment is small but charming. Very close to everything in Modena. We were out most of the time so it suited us. No kettle. About 40 steps up to apartment so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Great communication with the host”

“Ferienhaus in der Natur, unweit vom Deich und dem Fluss Po. Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Verona, Bologna und Venedig. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Anbindung an den Nah- und Fernverkehr in der nahegelegenen Stadt Ostiglia. Ein überaus gastfreundlicher Vermieter Valerio Bodo, der uns mit guten Tourenvorschlägen versorgt hat. Zudem hat er uns persönlich durch Verona geführt. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Wlan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Lediglich die Küche und das Inventar waren……

“Perfect position for centre of Modena. The apartment is very small and well appointed, it has everything needed for a short stay. Bed is comfortable and it is a good place for a good night sleep as it is very quiet. The apartment is reached by a lift which takes you to the third floor then one flight of steep stairs up tp the fourth floor. Wifi was good as it was good to have to TVs. Host is friendly and pro-active. She welcomed us with a nice fruit basket and a bottle of wine. We found……

“My only complaint is that there are no shelves or surfaces to place items like shampoo, soaps, toothpaste, etc in the bathrooms, even in the shower. Otherwise the property is very nice.”

“Es hat alles gepasst. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles sehr unkompliziert. Betten bequem, Küche gut ausgestattet. Schöne große Terasse. Es fehlt nichts. Einziger Minuspunkt: Es war nicht so super sauber. Aber das lag wahrscheinlich daran, dass wir sehr kurzfristig reserviert haben und sonntags angereist sind. Lage für uns sehr schön und ruhig. Preisleistungsverhältnis gut! Unbedingt an Mückenschutz denken ;-)”

“The location was excellent for people travelling by train, just a few minutes from the train station. Perfect for a short stay with trips by train to the surroundings. Although the kitchen/sitting room is very small it is very well equipped and the bedroom is very cosy. We appreciated the absolutly quiet location in the backyard! It was our first "automatic check in" and we were surprised how well it worked. Altogether a very nice experience and we would definitely return if we came to Mantova……

“Simona met us personally at the apartment to give us the keys and a walk around. We were stunned by the apartment: spacious, decorated, comfortable & with more amenities than we had seen so far in a short term rental. Everything was updated & very clean. Quiet neighborhood with all the services we needed in walking distance. We had a car & there was free parking at the site. I could stay here for months!! The apartment key needs a bit of a jiggle at the end but once learned, it becomes a sweet……

“Bien pour une nuit ou deux pas pour une semaine. Cuisine peu équipée, pas de four pas de grille pain, 2 plaques électriques de camping et une hotte en panne. Photos non conformes. Le RDC ne fait pas partie de la location. Propriétaire sympathique et propreté absolue.”

“Charming hotel. Built in the 1500’s Formerly a monastery and other uses, it has a lively period lobby, newly remodeled baths, charming, helpful staff and delicious breakfast buffet. The rooms. while not refreshed, are comfortable and quiet. The large outdoor terrace is wonderful for drinks”
