"The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). "Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. "The spacious 2 bed apartment in Salthill had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer, although the listing on VRBO stated there were coin-operated laundry facilities. The grocery store was 5 minutes away on foot. From our 4th floor location (with lift) we could have our morning coffee while watching the activity at Grattan Beach and on the promenade before walking (20 mins) into Galway city centre."
