“Technically the drive time to hikes in Acadia National park are really 25 minutes away from the property. It didn’t bother me too much because driving and seeing the views of Maine is beautiful. My room met my needs especially for the price. However there were lots of lady bugs alive and dead that I was sharing the space with lol. I was waking up at 6:30-7:00am due to the traffic of people driving along the road but I was starting my morning early anyways but just wanted to note for others. I……

“We really liked this place in so many ways. The location was great for getting to Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. It had comfortable beds, bathrooms for each of us, nice kitchen but only salt, pepper and some oil. The dishes and pans would make cooking easy but more spices would make things easier. Two problems were that there were no instructions for anything like the TV ( which never worked right) or what to do when we checked out. The fact that the 15 steps to the bedrooms wasn’t shown or……

I expected rustic cabin but I didn’t see that it did not have electrics or running water. I didn’t expect big gaps in the wall boards that allowed you to look through the walls of the cabin. Which might not have been so bad had there not been swarms of mosquitos that attacked while we were looking the place over. It……

“I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone. Note to host would be to have an extra roll of TP and……
