“Although the weather did not really cooperate (rained for the first 2 days), we still found the home cozy, peaceful and and the area serene. A beautiful location right on the lake. We go once a year with our four wheelers to northern Vermont and this was a great riding area. Lots of trails with stops along the way (Parker Pies, Bakersfield, Morgan Store). Jim and his wife were there when we arrived. Very nice people. Would recommend to hikers, ATV'ers, and just folks who want to get away. PS.……

“5 of us - 2 'adults' and 3 grown kids - all stayed at the home. We all had plenty of space. When arriving I was confused between a key lock mounted outside the door and the integrated handle lock on the door. A quick call to the owner cleared up the confusion. The integrated lock takes some getting used to and can be a bit finicky to operate at times. We ate out mostly so didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything anyone would need. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and……

“The cabin itself was lovely the views breathtaking just a couple of hiccups really. We had a 4 Hour drive to get to the cottage which we got to a few minutes early before check-in before four. So we left and came back at four housekeeping was still there. My husband asked how long they would be. They said about a half an hour, so we sat in our car for half an hour. Once again, the cottage is lovely but the screened in porch area. The screens many of them are completely loose blowing in the wind.……
