“I enjoyed my stay at the Wright Place. I had communication with the host before arriving, and I told her my reasons for traveling (birthday related, not mine). When I arrived to check in, I was shown around the property and there was a present waiting on the counter! There was also a little bucket of snacks on the counter, pastries in a dish, and water bottles in the fridge! I thought that was very kind of her. The area was nice and quiet, which allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep……

“This location was an overall amazing stay! Nice and quiet, with a very cozy atmosphere both inside and out. Along with the homeowner, Mrs. Janet, being super responsive and attentive during the entirety of my stay. The next time I come back to Erwin, I'll have to make sure I book this location for my next stay!”

“Would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the property more. My husband loved the deer. They were plentiful! Nice very clean property. Loved the fans in the bedrooms, (right up my alley) and that there were a few snacks and waters. That was nice as we were rushing to get ready for a nearby wedding.”

“This was perfect for our trip. It was close to everything and plenty of room for the three of us. Sara and Marvin were great to work with and Sara even left muffins as a welcome which were delicious! I would definitely recommend and should we be back in Johnson City I will be booking here. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean, I taught myself how to fly fish and caught my first brown trout.It was a beautiful getaway from our busy lives for a few days listening to the river all day.I highly recommend staying here.”

“We we here in June of 2025. The host went out or her way to make everything great for our stay. She left us a surprise in the refrigerator for our stay here during the NHRA event. The home was very comfortable and very clean. Not a complaint one. The home was so cozy and cooled very well and furnished with everything you will need with your stay. I would highly recommend this little house. We loved the country setting there at the little house. Thank you so much for the host Debbie for making……

“Everything was fantastic!! From check in to check out. We loved having the privacy and enjoyed the hot tub. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. Grest location between bigger towns. ”

“This is an immaculate small house that also has a big deck and lawn which looks out over a beautiful trout stream. Unfortunately I did not bring my fly rod with me because I didn’t read the listing carefully. The trout were rising all around! I was more focused on the location in the tri city area. The place is clean, well appointed and the owners live right next door. I highly recommend it. The photo is from the stream bank. ”
