“Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights in Auberge Les Roches. We arrived by rental car around sunset and were pleased to have a complimentary tajin dinner that night. The breakfast was good, and we made tons of use of the pool, which was a hit with our kids. Amazing dunes are just a short walk away. We were in the area for fossil hunting. A couple other notes: we had to pay for the room in cash only, which we didn’t get notice about until the day before checkout and nearly had a problem with because……

They arranged our tour to the desert after a simple mention and they were very very flexible with our needs and wants. We felt very at home here. The staff is very kind/caring. The rooms were spectacular and the beds comfortable. The food provided was amazing. Service was phenomenal and it felt more like staying with friends than commercialized interaction. “The camp site was good and good arrangement in meeting point. The Boss and his team were very nice. We'll go again for the foggy weather was no good to see stars at night even with this good place. Dinner and Breakfast were good. The Boss also brought us to his mall to show their carpets and beautiful hand made jewelry. However, i would like to have a fan in my camp for the next visit and delay a little bit longer the power supply.”

“It’s close to erg chebbi so you can see sunset there. We got a free room upgrade which is spacious and with good hot shower. Good to have free pickup to hotel from bus station tour prices quoted by the hotel is expensive. In the end we booked something outside and hotel personnel was apparently upset by this and didn’t provide us with free drop off from hotel to bus station.”

“Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!”

“A beautiful unique place right at the sand dunes. The description "connected with a shopping center" is wrong, there is no shopping center. It is connected with a well-equipped camping site. The last stretch of the access road goes across sand, unpaved. Camel rides are right next door. Beautiful sunsets, sky full of stars, open-fire barbeque for delicious food which comes in huge portions and with many tasty sides. WiFi works in the common area but not in the simple rooms and the water didn't……
