The hotel is over a bar "The Asylum" so it gets a little loud at the entrance at night. Bed mattress was a little worn out where people sit at the side of the bed before going to sleep. "My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was so quiet, peaceful and serene. Deer came into the yard quite often. We built a fire in both the fire pit in the yard and by the water, made s’mores and relaxed. It didn’t matter where we sat, on the porch, yard chairs by fire pit or by the water… the sound of the water was so soothing. The house is pretty secluded. Of you need peace and quiet and to just relax, this is the place for you. It is also between so many state and national parks… so much to do. We rented a pontoon for a day and visited so many parks. Great stay, would definitely recommend!!"
