The loft at the top of the metal spiral staircase in the kitchen looks like it would be lots of fun for kids, but we did not use it. “This conveniently-located tiny house had a lot of natural light, was immaculately clean, nicely decorated, well-stocked with kitchen utensils and had a decent-sized refrigerator (with freezer) for a short stay. Parking was much more convenient than a hotel and it was definitely quieter. Loft is definitely a kids-only space. While the shower had hot water and good pressure in the evening, we had no hot water from the sink faucets the following morning. The beds were incredibly soft making it……

“I arrived about 9 pm. The temp was 70, with 71% humidity. I set the thermostat to 65. After 10 min, the sytem kicked off. I contacted the owner. He said to close the blinds & give the thermostat time to communicate with the A/C. Ten min had already passed. The temp had gone up & the humidity was now 76%. By 10 pm, it was clear the situation wasn't improving. I let the owner know & made other plans. The next day at 2:30, the temp was 67, BUT the humidity was 80%. I stayed 20+ min. The temp rose……

“First time, won’t be our last. Only place we want to stay when traveling to the area. Cottage was clean, the beds were comfy and had big bath towels. Plenty of room for parking truck and boat trailer. Kitchen fully stocked with nice cookware and utensils. Deck is relaxing and cool in the afternoon through evening. Area was pretty quiet, neighbors were friendly.”

“Free parking right outside was super convenient after a long drive. The room had all the basics needed, from a decent shower to reliable WiFi. Didn't expect such value for the price, really helped with my travel plans.”
