“It's a cabin in the middle of the woods, as long as you read the emails and pay attention there isn't any surprises. Bathrooms are outhouses but there is a communal a cabin with bathrooms showers with hot water staff is around during the day, the cabin are clean and warm, as long as you are responsible with food critters aren't a problem. It adds a bit of luxury to camping in the sticks. Being in the dark sky zone makes for amazing stargazing. That being said this place isn't a place to……

“Charming, exactly as described”

“Great floor plan, well equipped cook’s kitchen. Gorgeous views across moosehead. King sized bunk beds were fun. Short ride into town, just down the road from Lilly bay state park. Great jumping off location 10/10 would book again. ”

“Very tidy. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The beds were not the most comfortable. A beautiful spot for sunrises and well protected in the cove and with the island. Well maintained cabin. would stay here again.”

“Great place to rest after busy days of working with family to open and do some much needed work at our family camp of nearly 60 years. We kept 35 people fed and happy for 3 days! Being able to come rest at the end of the day was amazing!”

“The cabin was clean and inviting, the view, lovely! My husband and I choose the bedroom upstairs. The view from the very comfortable king sized bed, was spectacular! The very narrow and steep stairway leading up to it was a little challenging, but we're an older couple with some physical challenges. Communication with the host was impressive and appreciated.
