“Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The decoration of the whole venue is incredible with so much to look at. There is a lot of car spaces but the area is very busy so it’s a bit of a search to find one.”

“We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. “Hôtel sympathique. Propriétaires très souriant. La chambre donnait sur la terrasse du pub. Beaucoup de bruit donc même si le service s’arrête tôt. Salle de bain pour personne en situation de handicap. Pas de pression pour l’eau. Installation vieillotte.”

Heating was not operating in the morning.”

“Wonderful location, good dining options and lovely sized clean room”

“Staff was friendly when helped us settle down, and bring breakfast basket to the room. Room space is still OK enough to put my lugguages and bags, and so far not bad though seems a bit old for furniture and devices. Windows need be closed otherwise there could be spiders crossing the dent, since it is 2nd floor and we are near a roof of meal bench. The biggest problem is the water tap of the shower tube, because it provided little hot water no matter how we rotated or twisted it. My wife failed……
