“We enjoyed our room with a view over the nearby river. Recommend having that room. The TV did not work the first day but we were recompensed for that. The room needs side tables. Breakfast was ok. Not outstanding but sufficient. Be good to have fresh coffee not instant and better quality sausages instead of off the shelf super market quality. All in all enjoyed our stay with a nice country location”

“Tucked away in beautiful location, 50m from Tarr steps. Lovely, helpful staff and gorgeous food (breakfast &evening meal). Lovely spacious room and amenities. One small suggestion for improvement would be nicer pillows”

“For one night as a pass through to home, it was ok. But we will not be back. Pros- child friendly, suite was a good size, friendly owner. The bed was comfy and there is a Roku to be able to get a lot of channels. Breakfast was decent. Although it’s between 8-9 which was a bit early for us after a long day and then having to go looking for dinner and getting the kids settled. Trying to get them up for breakfast was hard. Cons- dog wee’s on the floor and even when told, it’s not even covered.……

“Pleasantly surprised staff were friendly and helpful the restaurant was good with bar games to entertain the kids we stayed for one night whilst visiting family the rooms were clean and comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep thank you”

“Nikki, Sophie and Anya were what made this stay. They were so friendly and so helpful! Nikki really went above and beyond for us, accommodating everything we needed. They were all very kind and patient with my young daughter. The room was exactly what we wanted and as advertised. The food and drink selection was fab too and reasonably priced! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.”
