“This is our preferred spot to stay in Manchester. It’s really nice and the location is great too. We expect to stay here again.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home is incredibly spacious, offers fantastic activities, and features an excellent location. If you are planning a trip to Backbone State Park, this home is perfect, as it is just a short drive from the park entrance.However, we did notice a few details regarding the sleeping arrangements:Master Bedroom: The mattress is comfortable but the frame is quite squeaky. A single quiet sleeper will be fine, but multiple people may find their sleep……

“The converted jail was such an interesting and unique place to stay. The property is beautiful, the house and room were clean and inviting, and the cell block was a great place to hang out and explore. We loved morning coffee on the balcony and the fabulous whirlpool tub for relaxing. Make sure to check out the incredible food at the local Algerian restaurant, and a lovely river walk, or explore the four story antique mall in town!”

“We were looking for somewhere nearby-ish Decorah to stay for the weekend. This cabin was a great place for my husband and I and our pup! It had everything we needed for a nice weekend away. I enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake, and watching a pair of geese with their new babies.”

“The cabon was great, we really got the quiet and peacefull time we were hoping. Fairly short drive to nice state parks in the area.”
