“The property was just what we needed to get away from everyday life. It was very relaxing!! The only negative thing I could say is there was no grill, but that was it. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to stay again, maybe when it's a little warmer.”

“I had to be in the Ellicotville area for work and we found this cute cabin to stay through VRBO. We couldn't have imagined how amazing this cabin would be. The communication with the owners was easy. Both Madeline and Bette were very helpful and polite. The view from the screened in porch into the state forest is so relaxing. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and about as relaxing as the porch. We couldn't decide whether to sit inside or outside. The location is close to town yet far enough……

“Proximity to PA Grand Canyon allowed a hike, food at Wellsboro, church & food at Coudersport. Enjoyed the Cottage very much for family meals, games, hot dogs at the fire, cozy bedrooms, Northern Lights in place of stars on the rainy nights. Host had little things that made a difference. Loved it!”

“Very rustic and authentic log cabin in a beautiful + secluded location. This is a great spot to just relax and commune with nature and saw plenty of wildlife right on premise. Chris was a most gracious host and went out of his way to make our experience a wonderful one, this is a great place to spend some quality time with family & friends. “The home is spacious & well laid out with tons inside and out to do. Our teens kept busy playing pool, using the paddle boat in the pond and running outside with dogs! Internet & smart TV’s were great. The house has several different hangout areas and was well appointed. A Christmas tree was purchased for the house to add a special perk for our vacation (thank you Dan!) Communication was absolutely fantastic with property contact! I personally loved cooking dinner and watching deer in the……

“My family and I had a weekend getaway here. We enjoyed the house, the board games, and exploring the property. If you’re in need of some relaxation and quiet this is a great place to do it. The driveway is very long, just keep going, you’ll get there. The Austin dam is minutes down the road, the Potter County Pub is 10 minute drive and a great place for food and drinks.”

“The house was perfect for our family weekend get-a-way! The views outside were just beautiful! Although the weather was rainy and cloudy most of the time, it didn’t stop the kids from fishing and paddle boating in the pond every day. We all had a great time and would definitely go back again and can only imagine how amazing it would be to see the stars on a clear night.”

“My family has stayed in this home twice. The home is beautiful and spacious enough for a group of 8. The kitchen has been upgraded but does lack some basic essentials. As the listing states the home is going through some renovations but there was little to no impact to us other than the hot water in one of the bathrooms was dripping and didn’t actually turn on. I emailed the property manager so hopefully it will be addressed before the next stay.”
