“Owner was very nice and gave clear directions and had lots of nice beach gear to loan. It is kind of a boarding house situation with different guests in different bedrooms I missed that it wasn't air conditioned in the description. Temp was ok at night but pretty warm mid afternoon. “Everything was top notch, clean, modern and worked well. Cute place and two large private rooms were perfect for two single people traveling together for work. The only glitch was on checkin - the code did not work and because it was so late we could not get in touch with the host. We got VRBO involved, and they had an alternate contact. The issue was relived within about 45 mins - we were sent a new code and got in to the unit. II was quite impressed with the responsiveness of VRBO!”

“The living room and the outside dining area has great ocean view. The property is right next to the pool(10 meters away). Clean place. The location is great and it close to everything. This is the ground floor unit and there are stairs you need to walk down to. The second bedroom’s window is lower than the garage level so it has a subtle feeling of basement. That’s probably why it is priced lower than other second floor building. We are fine with that and we leave the window open to ventilate.……

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
