“Nicely remodeled place, very comfortable with reclining couch, plush bed and nice touches throughout. Walk in shower was a nice addition as well. They did a nice job updating the place and keeping the historic charm. The steps to the loft were a bit daunting, but they did all they could to work with the historic building to make them easier to navigate. ”

“The beds and sofas are comfortable and the house is on a quiet, safe street. There is a huge backyard and the laundry machines are handy. Within short walking distance is a diner for breakfast. Air conditioning works well and kept us comfortable even in August. I would stay here again. ”

“We just had a one night stay here in Baker City and this house was perfect for us. It was very clean. The furniture was nice and comfortable too. We slept well on the beds. Great location. We really liked the covered parking spot too, we had luggage in the car and it felt safer having it off the street. We would definitely stay here again!”

“The Palmer House is well situated close to downtown in Baker City. It's host is very thoughtful (even gave us homemade bread upon arrival) about providing a comfortable, cozy environment. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a lot of attention to details such as colorful tile work, clean paint, artwork, and a wonderful backyard to enjoy when the weather is good. We would definitely stay here again!”
