“I want to start by saying the location and price of Sylvan Lake quiet place was excellent. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Also, our host was great about responding and answering questions when we had them. The cons for the trip were lack of organization in the house and cleaning supplies. We really struggled to find things in the kitchen to cook and eat with. Near the end of our stay we ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. We searched but there was none throughout the……

“Would book again without hesitation. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Not too many frills, but it did the job well.”

“I'll start with the positive's. It was a quiet neighborhood. 10 minutes to everywhere we needed to go. The backyard was great for the dogs. Check in was a breeze and host is responsive. Negative's: It is an older house, so I am trying to remember that while leaving review. Taking showers was interesting. Any time the water came on any where else in the house, I was blasted with cold water. I'm also baffled by the comments this house was clean. There was so much 'stuff' on the doors,……

“We visit Monroe occasionally to visit family and have been in some pretty awful hotels in the area. We were super lucky to find this house for our stays in Monroe. The house was so clean and was decorated adorably. I really cannot say enough about this house. The location was convenient and safe. The house was in a in older, quiet, safe location. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Monroe.”

“The host is very courteous and responds quickly. The area is great in relation to the colleges and shopping. The parking is not advantageous. The property can use some upgrading. The stove and microwave were terrible. The owner should check on the cleaning crew...It was a great price and stay for a one night trip. I would recommend based on the communication with the host.”
