"Pros: Surroundings (green, nature) is lovely. Super friendly host. Big house, the upper house is all yours which is very big! Big kitchen, well supplied. Very clean. Animals all over, for the kids (and me!) really amazing. A path through the woods to get there, which made it even more special. Comfortable stay. Good WiFi. So much peacefulness everywhere, we really enjoyed it. Stayed there for 2 nights, this could easily have been 4 :)"

"This is a very old house, with old furniture - it is well kept. It has a new clothes washer and dishwasher. The clothes washer leaked under the sink, and the owner came to try to fix it. It was pretty clean, although there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. There’s no air-conditioning, obviously, and it was very hot - it is hard to cool the house now unless you leave all the windows open, and there are no screens, so then a lot of flying insects come in. "The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. This hotel met all our needs. We dined in the cafe right there at the hotel and the food was delicious."

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."

"Stunning location. Beautiful room with lots of space for 4 of us. All new and modern - luxurious even. The description doesn’t do it justice. The place is truly great! Tree top walk and zip lines were amazing. Lots of other activities too! Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for activities, adventure as well as stunning surroundings!"

"The apartment was clean and comfortable, albeit really narrow. The toilet and showers were also clean and the shower was really good. Reception staff was friendly but were only there from 2pm, so check out at 9am was a bit confusing as we weren’t sure where to leave the room keys (we place them behind the reception counter). There is a bus that goes to San Sebastián which illegibly comes every 15-20mins, but we waited almost half an hour for it! Parking proved challenging after 7pm, although others options in the area were suggested by reception staff. Overall we had a good night sleep and should we return we definitely travel by car to the capital in our own car."
